David Catala. TENNIS DIRECTOR


David was born in Spain and has been playing tennis since the age of three. It eventually became his passion and through hard work, dedication and some natural talent he become a Professional tennis competitor. As a player David was successful internationally winning different tournaments both as single and doubles and competiting until the age of eighteen.  He decided at that time to dedicate his career to helping others through the sport he is passionate about and become a tennis coach and conditioning expert. David is USPTA Professional I, Professional Tennis Director for RPT Europe and a Coach Licensed 3 for HKTA. He believes that the world doesn't stop growing and neither should we.

David's experience is vast and rich both locally in Hong Kong and on the international circuit. He was a performance coach in Costa Dorada Tennis Academy (Tarragona, Spain) for 3 years.  David relocated with his family to Hong Kong to lead the Hong Kong National team through the Hong Kong Tennis Association. David was also Davis Cup's coach for Hong Kong team (2015), and provided private lessons and group coaching at the Pacific Club Kowloon. As a player David has won different tournaments during his career both in Spain and Hong Kong standing out the Hong Kong National Tournament (2015 and 2016), he also has represented Davis Cup team Hong Kong vs Indonesia. Motivation, energy and passion are all part of what make David shine. His love for what he does is transmited in every lesson.

Jaume Monfort. ADULT AND ELITE PROGRAMME DIRECTOR


Jaume is a certificate Tennis Teaching Professional under the USPTA, RPT & RFET and has been teaching tennis full-time since 2008. Jaume has worked both as a high performance coach in academies with full-time players on the ITF/WTA Tour, and in a Club environment with recreational adults & juniors. He has held these roles in Spain, Germany, Dubai and China. Since coming to HK in 2011, Jaume worked with the HK Tennis Association and was the Head Coach for the HK Tennis Association's National Squad. Within this role, Jaume worked with and traveled with a number of HK's leading junior and open players.
